Paralegal/Administration Officer
Pauline joined Groom Kennedy in 2021, bringing nearly 30 years of experience in legal administration. She has developed broad knowledge and experience assisting in the areas of conveyancing, commercial property, Wills and Estates, and Powers of Attorney, having previously spent over 25 years at a leading Hobart law firm.
Pauline plays a key role in assisting the GK Legal Team with paralegal support for their files as well as attending settlements. She also takes care of administration functions, including reception and welcoming visitors to our office, ordering office supplies, accounts administration and client invoicing. Pauline prides herself on her strong work ethic and attention to detail, and ensuring clients receive exceptional service is a key priority.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, keeping fit and connecting with family and friends.
The Victorian Supreme Court has recently highlighted some key issues related to repudiation of contract, by refusing to find that a party had repudiated its contract despite admissions that it was ‘in the process of winding down’, ‘unable to continue operating’ and ‘[would] not be in a position to settle’.
